眼視光技術專業是上海市唯一布點設置培養“醫工複合型”眼視光技術專業人才的特色專業，主要面向衛生行業/眼鏡行業，旨在培養具有紮實的醫學專業知識及相關自然科學知識，有較強的醫學實踐和人際交流能力，有良好的職業道德和人文素養，具有創新、創業精神，融醫療、預防、保健、康複為一體，具有終身發展潛力的高端技能型專門眼視光技術人才。曆年來，畢業生供不應求，受到用人單位一緻好評。

Optometry Technology is the only major set up in Shanghai to train medical-industrial ophthalmic professionals, mainly for the health industry / glasses industries, and it aims to cultivate students with solid medical expertise and related scientific knowledge. When finish the course, the students are equipped with  strong medical practice , inter personal communication ability, professional ethics and humanistic literacy, they are also innovative, entrepreneurial, as they have integrate the professional capabilities of medical treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation as one.
